For families
Register your interest
Families enquire first by using this form. Registering interest does not mean automatic programme admission: our team manages eligibility, placement and waitlists with care.
Anyone eligible under the 2026 Admissions Policy is welcome, subject to space availability, and there is no audition.
The programme remains free. Families who are able can choose to donate; just $5 a week helps contribute to the cost of their tamariki’s involvement in our after-school programmes.
Child safety and privacy
The safety of the children in our programme comes first. Everyone who works or volunteers with our tamariki is police vetted. The details you share here are used by the Arohanui Strings+ team to respond to your enquiry and manage programme placement. We handle this information with care. Photographs and names of students are published only with appropriate consent from parents and caregivers.

The simplest way to help.
A gift of any size keeps lessons, instruments and concerts free for the tamariki and rangatahi aged 6–16 in our seven communities. Donations of $5 or more are eligible for a 33% donation tax credit.
