# Arohanui Strings+

> Arohanui Strings+ is a registered charitable trust (CC47962) providing free, community-based strings, brass and woodwind education for tamariki and rangatahi aged 6–16 across Wellington and the Hutt Valley, New Zealand.

The organisation was founded in 2010 and is inspired by the El Sistema model. Its programmes provide tuition, instruments and afternoon tea without cost to participating families.
