Arohanui Strings+ uses the pursuit of musical excellence and ensemble performance to bring about positive change in the lives of children in the Wellington region.

Arohanui Strings+ is a Sistema-inspired early intervention music education programme, and registered charitable trust, running groups in Taita, Stokes Valley, Wainuiomata, Mt Cook, Miramar and Newtown.

We are part of a visionary global movement transforming the lives of children through music. Each year we work with hundreds of children who would likely not otherwise learn an instrument and play in an orchestra.

All children aged 6 to 18 are welcome – we do not audition. To enrol with Arohanui Strings, fill out our online registration form. (NOTE: due to a current funding shortfall, we are no longer taking registrations for the rest of 2024.)

To find out about our day-to-day activities and upcoming events visit our Facebook page or Instagram. Also, see our videos on YouTube.
